A New Shipment on the Way – Omega Roof Batten Machine Heads to Australia!

Jun 10, 2025

June 9 marked another exciting day at our factory as we loaded and dispatched an Omega profile roof batten roll forming machine bound for Australia. The machine is currently on its way to Shanghai Port, where it will be prepared for sea freight to our valued client overseas.

Shipping machinery internationally never loses its excitement, and this project is a great example of teamwork, customization, and engineering precision.

What Makes This Machine Special?

This Omega profile roll forming machine is designed specifically to produce roof battens—those essential components that support roof sheets and provide structural stability. Battens may not be the most glamorous parts of a building, but they’re certainly some of the most important. Especially in a country like Australia, where building codes require reliable performance in extreme weather conditions, the quality of roof battens really matters.

That’s where our machine steps in. Built to handle high-strength steel, it forms Omega profiles with perfect consistency. The roll forming process ensures tight tolerances, strong rib shapes, and a clean finish—ready for immediate installation. This unit is equipped with:

  • A precision hydraulic cutting system

  • High-speed rollers for consistent output

  • Easy-to-use PLC controls with touchscreen interface

  • Heavy-duty frame for durability and low vibration

And the best part? It’s fully customizable. For this customer, we made special adjustments to support larger coil sizes and to allow quick changeovers for different profile widths.

Meeting Australia’s Roofing Needs

The customer receiving this machine is no stranger to the metal building industry. Based in Australia, they are a well-known supplier of roofing products, especially for large commercial and agricultural structures. They were seeking a roll forming solution that could help them boost productivity while ensuring every batten met local standards.

Our team worked closely with them over several months, going through their specifications and offering engineering advice. We even provided 3D drawings and simulation videos during the development stage to ensure the final product was exactly what they needed.

Testing, Packing, and Saying Goodbye

Before shipment, we conducted a full in-house test run. Every part of the machine—from the decoiler to the hydraulic cutter—was checked thoroughly. The trial production went smoothly, and we sent video footage and sample battens to the customer for their final confirmation.

Once approved, our team moved on to packaging. Given the journey ahead, we don’t take any chances. The entire machine was sprayed with anti-rust oil, wrapped in protective film, and secured inside a reinforced container. We also included clear labels and user manuals to make the setup process easier on arrival.

Looking Ahead

The machine will soon arrive in Australia, and our technical team is standing by to provide remote installation assistance and training. Whether through video calls or on-site visits, we’re always committed to helping our customers succeed.

This shipment is another proud moment for our entire company. Not only does it reflect our capability to build world-class roll forming machines, but it also strengthens our growing relationship with the Australian construction industry.

Stay tuned—more shipments and innovations are coming soon!
